Social Media-Plug Ins
This website uses Social Plug-ins (“Plug-ins”) for the social networks Facebook and Instagram. If you call up one of our website pages which has a Plug-in of this kind, your browser sets up a direct link to the Facebook or Instagram servers. The content of the plugin is passed by the provider directly to your browser and integrated by it into the website. This means that we have no influence over the extent of the data, which Facebook and Instagram obtain (s), with the help of this plugin and we therefore inform you according to our information status:
Through integration of the plugin, the provider obtains the information that you have called up the relevant page on our internet site, even if you do not own a profile with the providers or are not logged in at the time. This information, including your IP address, will be passed from your browser directly to the provider and stored on their servers. The server location may be outside the European Union/EEA in the USA.
If you are logged on to the accounts of one or more providers at the time of your visit, the provider can allocate the visit to your account. If you interact with the plugin, by using a button, for example, or by posting a commentary, the information will be given directly to the provider by your browser. The information will also be published on your social media account and shown to your contacts. If you do not want Facebook or Instagram to collect data about you via our internet website and to link this with your data stored on the social media network, you need to log off from the network before going to our website. Please refer to the providers privacy policies:
We use a secure SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connection to protect the transmission of your data. This ensures that your personal data, including credit card details and contact information, is securely transmitted via the internet. The data is encrypted in such a way that it can only be read by our payment system. From a symbol (sealed padlock) in your browser’s window bar, you will recognize that you are now in the secured area. If your PC cannot process SSL – which may happen in rare cases – you do not need to worry that your data will be transmitted without secure encryption. In such cases, you will usually receive an error page drawing you attention to the problem. Then, you should best of all contact your provider.
3-D Secure Procedures
These are security procedures especially developed for Visa and Mastercard transactions that ensure that only the legal cardholder and legal online provider participate in a transaction. If a credit card holder is registered with the 3-D Secure Procedure via one of the registration methods, then following your input of the card details an additional dialogue screen, connected with your bank, will open to request your entry of a secure code (a password chosen by yourself). Only by entering the correct password will the transaction be carried out. Your bank will tell you if your credit card is registered for this procedure.
