What I can expect?
The KaDeWe has its own exclusive products in the confectionery section that are prepared in-house on the 7th Floor above the rooftops of Berlin. The training to become a confectioner is as varied as the products you work with - from chocolate and marzipan to producing praline and gateaux, as well as pastries.

You work five days a week, including Saturday. Your day begins at 6am and you will also attend college once a week to undertake the theoretical side of your training.
