Your order will, where possible, be sent as one dispatch. However, should your order include products which are packed separately or have to be sent differently, then part-shipments are unavoidable. There are no disadvantages to you as the additional costs for postage and packaging will be covered by KARSTADT Premium GmbH. The usual delivery time is approx. 2-5 working days for goods in stock. If prepayment or part-payment is requested, it is possible that delivery times may change. If we cannot deliver an item, we will include this information on the invoice or will be informed in writing.
For deliveries overseas, the following additional terms and conditions to that of Germany apply.
For your order, German law applies.
Unfortunately, not all kinds of goods can be exported to every country, or they are subject to strict regulations for export. This is particularly the case for items, which contain alcohol (import ban in the USA and countries of the Islamic world). Other goods, which can cause difficulties, are, in the broadest sense, electronic goods such as, for example, consumer electronics, PCs etc. The KaDeWe will issue a corresponding export statement to German Customs for every export delivery. Import duty will be the responsibility of the buyer.
Non-delivery, based on an export ban into the country of the buyer, does not involve any liability for damages on the part of the KaDeWe. Please observe the particularly strict Swiss import regulations. For the aforementioned reasons, the ordering of goods from the wine range, limited edition wine, champagne and corresponding gift baskets for export outside of the EU is, in your own interests, not recommended. Where there is a recognisable risk that orders placed will not be deliverable, these orders will not be processed.
Our designated delivery time, can be delayed by a few days, as we have no influence on the dispatch companies abroad.
The following packing and delivery costs apply for deliveries abroad by DHL (standard package up to 30kg) per order:
Goods valued up to €150.00: Germany € 10.00.
From € 150.00 free of charge
Europe € 15.00
Overseas I (USA) Standard €30.00
Overseas I (USA) Airmail €45.00
Overseas II (Australia, Japan and all areas not mentioned) €65.00
Should another carrier be necessary due to the size or weight (> 30 kg) of the delivery, transport calculations will be based on cost. Insurance cover for the goods can be arranged at the expense of the buyer.
Delivery is free for orders starting at €150 (only within Berlin city boundaries).
A cost of €10 for each delivery address will apply for amounts below this figure. For deliveries outside of Berlin, DHL or other courier rates will be charged.

For overseas deliveries, a charge of €15.00 is included in the prices above for the preparation of customs and delivery paperwork. The responsibility for the delivery remains with the customer.

All prices include VAT and any corresponding delivery costs. Until full payment is made, goods remain the property of KARSTADT Premium GmbH.
Payment can be made by credit card. Your card will be debited once the invoice has been generated.
All personal data such as address or credit card details will be encoded via SSL and therefore secure when sent via the Internet. Detailed information regarding encoding and data protection can be found under the section Security.
The statutory guarantee regulations apply. If the orders you have placed are for trade or business purposes, then the guarantee runs out after a year. Any guarantees from current manufacturers or KARSTADT Premium GmbH are not affected.

The following return entitlements do not apply if the goods ordered are to be used for your own business requirements.
You can return goods in the first two weeks without stating a reason. The time limit begins after your written confirmation (e.g. by letter, fax, email) but cannot commence before the goods have arrived (delivery of the same type of goods not cannot happen before receipt of first part of delivery) and not before fulfilling our disclosure duty, § 312e para. 1 clause 1 German Civl Code in accordance with § 3 German Civl Code-InfoV as well as disclosure duty, in accordance with § 312c para 2 German Civl Code in accordance with § 1 para. 1, 2 and 4-InfoV. For goods which cannot be sent as packages (e.g. bulky items) you can also make a claim in writing.
The time limit will start from the time you return the item or process the return. We will take on the costs and responsibility for the item. The claim should be sent to:

Exceptions for revocation rights:
items have been specially designed(e.g. item has been engraved);
if you have opened sealed audio and video recordings, particularly CDs, DVDs, video cassettes, TV/ LCD games and computer software.
Where revocation does come into effect, benefits received from both parties will be relinquished and if necessary any use (e.g. use and enjoyment) withdrawn. You will have to pay compensation for the value should you not be able to return the goods completely or in part, or in a bad condition. This is not the case if the deterioration of the goods is observed on checking them - as is the case were you to be in the shop. We take responsibility for the return of items which can be sent as a package. Additional transport costs will be charged to the customer.
If payments have not been made within 30 days, then there will be arrears. The time limit begin for you when the goods are sent or we receive your request for a return.
Prices: our prices are for 0.75 litre bottles unless another size is indicated.
Vintage: if a certain vintage is sold out, we will send you the next vintage provided that the type and price are of the same value.
Gift Hampers: All hampers shown are just examples. Thematic hampers are restricted in time. All hampers can be sent by post. However, the contents would then not be sent in a hamper but in a decorative box. Our wine and spirit specialists can advise you on the best beverages for all types of occasions.
